Worship in spirit and in truth. God is spirit and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth, Jesus is the truth who through the Father makes his dwelling among us full of grace and truth (John 4:24). Worship is a God-centered action (or actions) and attitude of the heart, to honor and revere the great mighty God of heaven and earth. It brings us near to him as we show gratitude for what he has done for us in Christ and through his Holy Spirit. It takes faith and commitment to acknowledge that he is God and Lord to worship him in spirit and in truth.
