Faith

It was a tree in my head

Covered with gifts

When I looked at it at first,

But as time passes by,

It is a dependable cane to soothe leaning on it

Any pain and tears

On the steep hill of life

That storm and blizzard often rage.

If I am with you I love

Holding the cane of faith firmly,

Even though I fall in the puddle of death suddenly,

As my fountain of courage spurts

Enough to cross it vigorously

Without trembling with fear.

The cane of faith

That I received without any qualification or price

Is your own noble gift

That I can't buy or get

Even for anything on this earth.

Whenever the waves of life rage,

Please let me gaze at Moses

To stretch out the cane of faith powerfully

Crying "Don't be afraid! Stand still

And see what the Lord will do

To save you today."

To the people who bawl out with resentment

In front of the Red Sea that enemy troops run after.
