This hands-on guide by University of Kentucky neurobiology students was created to lead others to understand and freely explore new research disciplines. It offers clear detailed guided learning modules-ones students can use to investigate, record, and analyze invertebrate behaviors, such as those in crayfish and larval Drosophila. These real-world modules can be easily duplicated at minimal cost in both simple or more complex ways at home or in the classroom-making them highly adaptable for both students and teachers.
