Drowning in self-hatred and doubt, Reverend Daniel Judah Harris, who is having a hard time dealing with certain temptations, makes a discovery about his past that causes him to contemplate suicide and turn away from God.

Yvonne J. Medley is a features writer and photographer. She has worked on staff at the Washington Times and freelanced for several publications, such as the Washington Post, People, Gospel Today, A Time to Love, and other national and local publications. She conducts her Life Journeys Writing Workshops, designed to empower and encourage incarcerated men and women as well as youth and adults, and fellow writers within the general population. Medley is a wife and mother of four, and lives in Waldorf, Maryland.
