Ich bin die Auserwählte ... warte ? was??
Na ja, nicht die Auserwählte ? aber ich bin das neueste Mitglied der Sorority of Brigid, einer Hexengemeinschaft, die dafür sorgt, dass andere Hexen sicher bleiben und im Verborgenen.
Mit einundzwanzig fühle ich mich manche Tage kaum imstande, meine Frühstücksentscheidungen zu verteidigen ? geschweige denn die Hexen von New Hampshire.
Die Fraternity of Free Witches hat da andere Pläne. Na klar. Gab es jemals eine Geheimgemeinschaft ohne eine Rivalin?
Statt sich anständig zu benehmen, wollen sie die Welt beherrschen ? aber das werde ich nicht zulassen. Wenn sie sich durchsetzen, wird das für die neunundneunzig Prozent der Menschen, die keine Hexen sind, sehr schlecht ausgehen.
Jetzt brauche ich nur noch jemanden, der mir beibringt, wie ich mein Amulett benutze, bevor es einem der Fraternity-Mitglieder gelingt, es mir zu stehlen.
Ach ja ? und ich muss herausfinden, wer Palmers Cousin ermordet hat, ohne dass er mitbekommt, dass ich auf eigene Faust ermittelt habe.

I probably spend way too much time watching television. I blame the internet. Seriously, my lack of will power has nothing to do with it. Now that I can wait and watch an entire season of a show at once I get sucked in and don't come up for air until about 2 in the morning. I think this goes along with my love for long songs, multi-book series, and four hour movies.
My life seems to be a series of crazy ideas, from 'go to college across the country where you don't know anyone' to 'four kids sounds like a great idea' to 'writing novels for a living sounds like a great plan'. My latest crazy idea is to hike the Appalachian Trail all at once with my long-suffering husband. He's taking it rather well.
