Imagination and Experience in Kant's Philosophy shows that the imagination plays both a systematic and methodological role in this justification and construes Kant's theory of imagination as a central point of his epistemology.

Ein zentrales Anliegen von Kants Kritik der reinen Vernunft ist die philosophische Begründung der Möglichkeit gegenstandsbezogener Erfahrung. Einbildungskraft und Erfahrung bei Kant zeigt, dass die Einbildungskraft eine sowohl systematische als auch methodische Schlüsselrolle in dieser Begründung spielt, und rekonstruiert Kants Theorie der Einbildungskraft als ein Zentrum seiner Erkenntnistheorie.
