'A predictably brilliant and joyful satirical page-turner' Deborah Frances-White, comedian and host of The Guilty Feminist podcast
From award-winning comedian and podcast host Alice Fraser, A Passion for Passion is a hilariously unique ode to romance novels. Brimming with satire, silliness and the tropes all fans adore, this is an entirely fictional collection of works by the world's most prolific, ineffably mysterious (and imaginary) romance author: D'Ancey LaGuarde.
As romance fiction's number one fan, Fraser has created this undisputed genius of the genre - and collected excerpts, book cover designs, character sketches and synopses - to offer us an exclusive glimpse into D'Ancey's most absurd and whimsical works.
From A Knight of Passion to The Dragon Lord's Lady , A Passion for Passion guides us through the wildly entertaining twists and unlikely turns on the journey to Happily Ever After.
A laugh-out-loud must-read for romance fans, and the perfect companion for those long, lonely nights...
