Genetic systems exhibit a dynamic balance between order and chaos, enabling robustness, adaptability, and evolvability. This work frames genetics through the lens of complexity theory, nonlinear dynamics, and systems biology, arguing that biological organization emerges at the edge of chaos. We integrate mathematical models, gene regulatory network theory, stochastic gene expression, and evolutionary dynamics to provide a unified conceptual and quantitative framework suitable for advanced genetics, systems biology, and evolutionary biology audiences.
