In a not-too-distant future, the US faces global conflict and internal autocracy. Marine veteran Patrick Walsh returns to a devastated America after the war in Ukraine, grappling with a population decline caused by a world-ravaging virus. Assigned as a detective in his department's Major Crimes Unit, he and his team investigate a case involving drugs, human trafficking, and political corruption. As more layers are peeled back, the corruption appears to extend to the highest echelons. Political leaders have unleashed a sinister agent, and an invasion of the homeland seems imminent.
