Two years of flirting with ADA Tamara Wong, Detective Gabriel Mac Cloud, finally gets to work a case with the sexy and intelligent attorney.

As Tam seems more comfortable around him, Gabe starts running into her more often, giving them a chance to talk. Until he walks into what looks like a burglary gone wrong and Tamara staring at the muzzle of a revolver.

Tamara always thought of Gabe as the playboy of the station, but getting to know him, showed her a different side to the strong silent Detective. When her life is threatened, Gabe's placed as her security detail and the cover story of them being in a relationship becomes real, as they get to explore each other, while finding out who is trying to kill her.
