Two prison sentences. One year.
Ezekiel was told to lie on his left side for three hundred and ninety days, and on his right for forty ? a day for each year ? bearing the punishment of the House of Israel and the House of Judah.
Leviticus 26 warns four times that a sentence which does not produce repentance is multiplied by seven.
Neither house repented.
Run the two sentences out and they do not agree by accident. Different start dates, seven centuries apart. Different lengths. Different numbers of multiplications. They expire in the same year.
701 BC + (390 × 7) = 2030 AD 70 + (40 × 7²) = 2030
This book shows the working.
Every number is derived from stated inputs by stated rules, and every one can be checked with a calculator in under a minute. The counting rule is declared before anything is counted. Where the argument is weak, the book says so ? in the main text, at the point where it matters, not in a footnote.
It also prints an argument that flatters the author and does not survive scrutiny, and then dismantles it.
Don't believe me. Check me.
