After twelve years of marriage, she found out she was pregnant, and shortly after that suffered a horrible miscarriage. Through the guidance of a doctor, she was unknowingly led to a hidden abortion clinic for a D&C procedure. She personally witnessed countless women having abortions in what she describes as a "social club atmosphere." Charlene has experienced horrific mental ordeals accompanied by much loss in her life.
