October 17, 2010 - NEWS FLASH! Argyle Ant left today in his small, one engine plane for the Arctic. Originally scheduled to go to Africa, Argyle, always an adventurer, raised money for his aerial trip by having an auction. He decides, instead, to head for the Arctic where he sells argyle socks to all the animals to help keep them warm. He later takes young readers to the Antarctic and Australia. He sings and dances and hangs out with Aaron Armadillo who is a great poet and eats amber artichokes!
