Daniel Torres Rodríguez es padre, esposo, arquitecto y gracias a este libro también escritor o casi. Nació en la ciudad de Colonia del Sacramento en el año 1979 y desde niño fue un apasionado del turf y de la lectura en ese orden. Desde el año 2006 forma parte del staff de En Una Baldosa, famoso sitio deportivo argentino y desde el 2010 colabora con la revista digital Eleturf.
