A vacant apartment. A traveling writer in need of a temporary place to stay. What could go wrong? If you're the landlady, more than you could imagine. Because until now, Amy Lynch, married since she was eighteen, has been a devoted wife, a doting mother to her now teenage daughters, and a stand-up member of the Logan's Creek community, not to mention her role as one of the town's Leading Ladies. The empty apartment is above her boutique, Treasures Abound, and the James Dean lookalike writer, Ryder Quinn, sees her nearly every day. It doesn't help that Amy's husband treats her like a platonic business partner instead of his one great love.

What happens when a writer buys a bookstore? For Deborah Spencer Foliart it meant being surrounded by books that gave her the inspiration for a novel she'd been thinking about for a long time. She has since sold the bookstore/coffee shop, giving her the time to finally write the story that's been brewing for far too long. Her debut novel, A Small Town Somewhere, the first of the Logan's Creek novel series. She'd already written dozens of business and visitors guides, a ton of marketing copy for Arkansas newspapers, and had hosted leadership seminars that drew in thousands. While she found writing non-fiction satisfying, nothing compared to creating a story filled with characters that took on a life of their own that somehow seemed similar to her hometown in Arkansas.Deborah spends much of her time traveling and taking stunning photographs with her husband Alan. When not on the road she's home in Arkansas, visiting her family, friends, and meeting with her longtime girlfriends, the Leading Ladies. If not landed in Arkansas, she could be found writing and enjoying their lake house on Table Rock Lake.
