Many things that can't be held in the hand are real, some very real. When I saw my first child it was very real, what I thought I couldn't hold in my hand but it is still fresh after 60 years, is that real or what?

He served 11 years in the USAF as part of the Strategic Air Command, then worked at Boeing Military Aircraft and later in industry before spending 25 years as a long-haul trucker. Now retired, he lives in Decatur, Alabama, where he continues to write stories grounded in the people and places that shaped him.
