I never thought my eighteenth birthday would end with my bare bottom on display in the town square.

One moment I'm celebrating with friends at the saloon. The next, I'm being hauled outside by Sheriff Ryder Jackson, all six feet of hard muscle and harder authority. I should have kept my mouth shut. Should have walked away when he warned me. But the whiskey made me bold, and I mocked him right in front of his deputies.

Big mistake.
