Survival comes and goes with migration! This thesis shows the importance of the Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase Interacting Protein 51 in migrating cells. Migrating cells are essential for wound healing - alias survival - or, on the other hand, are taking a responsible part of a carcinogen progress during metastatic invasion - alias death. Therefore, it is utmost of interest to discover more in detail the involved proteins and the protein-protein-interactions.
