With the discovery of the hidden ships, under the command of Commander Victor Freslof, and the defection of one of the foremost Tirgonian tacticians, and prominent battle commanders, Telebisque Serligh Teka, along with the entire crew and fully intact Fighting Star Palup, the now stronger Guardian fleet was once again able to do what was thought impossible. The Tirgonian Fighting Star Hidlok has been destroyed, belaying the myth that the most formidable and feared fighting platform in the known galaxy was invincible. Once again, the Guardians escaped a Tirgonian trap, but where could they go and return to their peaceful ways? Their only escape route is across the Tirgonian Empire to a planet called Paporia Two. However, Paporia Two is a planet rumored to be organizing a rebellion against its oppressors, the Tirgonian Empire. However, the Paporian society was governed by women. The Paporian Freedom Force, commanded by Sicbol Coferik, has been rumored to be gathering strength to rebel against their Tirgonian oppressors. Will Hop be able to control his personal attitude about women in positions of authority? Will the Guardians escape one war only to become involved in another? Will the Tirgonian defectors be accepted into the Guardian society? Will they be able to cross the entire Tirgonian Empire without being detected? Will the Guardians be destroyed by entering another with the Tirgonian Empire, or will they survive?

At eighteen, F. Thomas Jones enlisted in the US Army in 1967. After completingbasic training at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and graduating from AIT at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, Initially trained to purify water, he found himself stationed at a signal relay site on top of Phu Keio Mountain in Sakon Nakon Province, in the northeast corner of Thailand, Jones spent the first five years of his military career performing a variety of duties from being assigned as a cook to driving 5-ton dump trucks. For the next fifteen years, he was transferred to units in Vietnam and Germany, and he had various postingshere in the States before retiring in 1987. After retirement, he became a full-time teacher in Memphis, TN. He also worked in manufacturing and construction and as an equine caregiver. Jones now resides in Indiana, where he has been a substitute teacher for many years. He is a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and Moose, the American Legion, American Legion Riders, and a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
