Official science is mainly concerned with matter and therefore does not explain much of what is going on within us. Yet many of us are increasingly aware of the fact that there is so much more to us than that. If we aim to find meaningful answers as to the purpose of our existence, it is essential to gain knowledge as to what we are and why. Indeed, were there to be a purpose to this life, were there to be a task for us to fulfil on this Earth, our chances of succeeding would clearly depend on how we use the tools at our disposal.
