Welcome to the jungle. The gig is survival.
It's 1982, and Detroit new-wave punk rockers Neon Voltage are on the verge of their big break. But when their twin-engine plane goes down in flames over the Pacific, their dreams of MTV stardom crash-land on a remote, uncharted island. Their unlikely savior is the eccentric Doctor Moreau, who offers them food, shelter, and a sweet deal: earn their keep as his resident house band until the next supply ship arrives.
But this island paradise hides a gruesome reality. The band's new audience is silent, primitive, and cloaked in shadows. Furthermore, Moreau's rules are absolute: stay out of his laboratory, and never venture into the jungle after dark. When lead singer Shane Erickson breaks protocol after falling for a mysterious, captive woman named Zara, he unearths the doctor's twisted, blood-soaked vivisection experiments.
The music is over. With his bandmates subjected to Moreau's sadistic surgeries and transformed into savage beast-men, Shane is thrown into a lethal game of cat-and-mouse. Hunted through a monsoon-swept jungle by the very woman he tried to save, Shane must battle his way to the coast before he becomes the mad doctor's next masterpiece.
A high-octane, punk-rock descent into tropical terror, blending 1980s cult aesthetics with a horrific sci-fi classic.
