A knight's honor. A world in peril. A Grail lost to time.

Sir Percival Rathkeale, the red-haired knight of the Green Land, has sworn to defend his king and his people. When the Earth itself teeters on collapse, only one hope remains: the legendary Grail, an ancient device with the power to heal a dying world.

Guided by Merlin, the king's science advisor, and joined by loyal companions Galahad, Bors, and the indomitable Dame Lancelot du Lac, Percival sails into danger on a quest that will test his courage, his loyalty, and his heart. On the distant island of Koda, dark forces rise to seize the Grail for themselves. If Percival fails, the Green Land will fall, and with it, the Earth's last chance for survival.

Fall of the Green Land reimagines the King Arthur legends a thousand years in the future?where knights battle not only for crown and country, but for the survival of a planet reshaped by climate catastrophe.

Fans of Naomi Novik's mythic fantasy, N.K. Jemisin's world-shaping sagas, and Arthurian retellings such as Cursed and The Mists of Avalon will be captivated by this powerful blend of legend, science fiction, and climate fiction.

Start the journey with Fall of the Green Land, the first novel in The Future History of the Grail trilogy, followed by War for the Green Land and Return to the Green Land.

Autorentext

I've loved science fiction ever since I wrote my first Star Trek fanfic story at age 12. Now, I'm pursuing my dream of writing science fiction novels, but with a modern emphasis on our planet's changing climate. I'm working on a series of novels titled Carbon Run, Restoration, and Antarctica 2261. I hope to publish these by 2017.

I've already published a young adult novel, titled Bet: Stowaway Daughter, based on my research into the history of the schooner Wawona. I've told the ship's story in Shipbuilders, Sea Captains, and Fishermen: The Story of the Schooner Wawona, and the ebook Blowing Out the Stink: Life on a Lumber and Cod Schooner 1897-1947.

My interest in maritime history spurred me to publish two travel guides: The Fyddeye Guide to America's Maritime History, and The Fyddeye Guide to America's Lighthouses. I've also written three books on streaming media.

I live in Seattle with my wife, a chicken, and a weakness for anything with too much sugar.
