Britain, 1984. Thatcher in Number 10. Strikes, unemployment, and poverty. Britain is a tinderbox.

But there's money to be made for a skilled operative, a freelance spy; Jacqueline De Loughrey. Feminist, criminal, and worse, a transgender woman.

Jacqueline faces enemies that want to silence her. But she isn't going to go quietly.

A spy/crime thriller, with no dinner jackets!

Jacqueline finds herself at the sharp end of a murderous conspiracy, but all she wants to do is kill fascists, make out with her girlfriend, and listen to music. Doesn't seem a lot to ask for.

Jemma Topaz is someone who is really bad at writing profiles. She's a trans lesbian living in Britain, and writing spicy lesbian fiction to escape from unspicy environs.
