On the ice, they are the ultimate rivals. Off the ice, the game is even more dangerous.
Bogdan Andro is a man of spreadsheets, systems, and surgical precision. As the captain of Northstar University, his life is a series of controlled variables designed to protect a secret that could derail his NHL dreams. He has spent years building a fortress around himself, convinced that isolation is the only price for safety.
Niklas Draisaitl is the "Golden Boy"?a charismatic, high-energy force of nature who makes the impossible look effortless. But Niklas is tired of the performance. Managed since childhood by a "momager" obsessed with his brand, he's suffocating under a curated image that leaves no room for the man he actually is.
When the two are forced together as roommates at the Lakeview Sentinels' elite development camp, the professional rivalry that started in their teens explodes into something neither of them can calculate. Between high-stakes scrimmages and intense media training, the "arch-enemies" discover a chemistry that defies logic.
But in the world of professional hockey, visibility is power?and a threat. As an unauthorized photo threatens to expose their relationship to a national audience, Bogdan and Niklas must decide if they will retreat into the safety of their separate fortresses or choose to be braver together.
From secret hotel meetings and high-speed highway escapes to a life-changing draft night in a Chicago bar, Pucking Power Plays is a story of two men learning that while stars win games, real partnerships win eras.
Can they survive the fallout when the world finally sees their "private ice"?
