This clever, funny--and info-filled!--picture book is told using the maps that guide a family on their epic road trip, and is a delightful reminder that the journey is just as important as the destination.

Today's the day! A kid and her family are finally taking a trip to meet Dottie.

From a topographic map of the huge mountain range they drive (and hike!) through... to a map of the historic town they explore in a storm... to a map of the constellations twinkling above them, 12 maps help guide her family where they need to go: to meet the newest, fluffiest member of their family--Dottie!

Here's an inventive, heartwarming story-in-maps, where every stop on their journey is an adventure and a joyous surprise is waiting at the end.
