While most short guide books in literature confine themselves to one or two elements - choosing between plot analysis, themes, characters or style - this book presents a shortened COMPLETE analysis that contains all these elements. It fully examines Henrik Ibsen's play, A Doll's House, to give the reader a complete picture of the play. Besides, it examines how to respond to both excerpt and essay questions based on the play. This way, it not only gives the reader a complete picture of the play but also gives crucial insight into Ibsen's philosophy, making it easier for the reader to study other plays by Ibsen as well as general drama. By examining how to respond to questions, it teaches the reader the crucial skill of interpreting questions by explaining what question words mean. It further shows the reader how to earn ALL the marks required in any excerpt question. Also, it shows the reader how to write essays, starting with the basics of planning, to paragraphing to the complete essay. This way, the book becomes a crucial companion to students of drama both in high school and, especially, in colleges and universities. This book can be read on its own or the reader can choose to examine different sections of the play by focussing on the other three books in the series, which focus on one elements at a time.
