With plenty of humor, raw honesty, and gripping suspense, I recount how, as a young mother with a baby, I suddenly found myself homeless on the streets of London-stranded between fear, shame, loneliness, and the agonizing question: What on earth am I going to do now? At a time when every night became a test of survival and every new day was marked by relentless uncertainty, all hope seemed lost. I had no roof over my head, no social safety net to catch me, and no vision of the future for my helpless child. The cold of the nights, the hunger, the constant fear of danger-all of it threatened to break me. Yet it was precisely in this deep despair and hopelessness that God met me in a most unexpected, very personal way. Through His immeasurable grace and love, He sent people-complete strangers-who were like angels in the right place at the right time.
