An editor turned writer, Laura Baker is the author of more than 60 books for children. She grew up in Canada but now lives in a lovely town on the south coast of Wales with her husband, two sons, lots of cups of tea, and a love of all things cute and cozy.

Sean Julian enjoyed art from an early age, focusing on potato printmaking and creating clay dinosaurs. Years later, he studied at the Mansfield College of Art before moving to Bristol to study illustration. Being rather big and hairy himself, he was always happiest illustrating big, hairy creatures, such as bears and gorillas. This naturally led to a career in children's books. He now has more than 20 years' experience illustrating and writing for children.
