Ginger is a little gingerbread man, freshly baked and placed at the center of a grand holiday display in Mrs. Tinsley's bakery. But when Ginger realizes he might be eaten, he runs away, embarking on an adventure through the town. Along the way, he meets quirky new friends, including Pippin the penguin, Sprout the Christmas tree, and Lily the mouse, who teach him that Christmas is about love, family, and finding your place in the world. Eventually, Ginger discovers that the perfect place for him is where he started, surrounded by those who care.
