A Lyle Saxon Reader is a curated compilation of Saxon's writings about New Orleans and the Gulf Coast from the Times-Picayune newspaper between 1919 and 1923. Most of the short stories and character sketches in this book have been unseen since they originally published. A Lyle Saxon Reader is the first printing of fresh works by this author since the middle of the twentieth century.
