It has been noted that two men did more for Biblical Christianity in the 19th century than any other: Charles Haddon Spurgeon and Dwight Lyman Moody. The influence of D. L. Moody continues today. While much has been written about this great man of God, very little has been published about his preaching. In this volume Ballard exposes a little-known fact. Though Moody began as a topical speaker, he became a text-driven preacher in his later years.
