When the Foundations Are Shaken:Pastoral Care for Catastrophic Painby Michael A. Milton

Catastrophic pain invades the deepest architecture of the soul, shaking the foundations of meaning, faith, and identity. The outer self must still function while the inner self wrestles in silence?and marriage often bears the strain.

In this practical pastoral essay, Michael A. Milton equips pastors to assess, diagnose, and carefully treat the effects of such pain through the ordinary means of grace. Drawing on a proven Spiritual Diagnostic Model, he offers clear guidance for shepherding individuals and couples when the foundations are shaken.

Approximately 50 pages.
