Echoes of the Night: From Bones to Bridges
The war for Pittsburgh's soul has begun.
Darkness stirs beneath the city, and the fragile balance between life and death is shattering. Derek, Nate, Nina, and Aaron have survived attacks, loss, and the awakening of a force older than time?but survival comes with a price. The baby they've sworn to protect carries the essence of something divine... and dangerous.
As shadows twist reality and long-buried secrets claw their way to the surface, the group must forge new alliances?including one with the enigmatic Laurel, a woman erased from memory and bound to the Council's darkest sins. But as bonds deepen and powers evolve, one question haunts them all: can love and loyalty rebuild what destiny has broken?
Blending queer romance, urban fantasy, and psychological horror, From Bones to Bridges continues the Echoes of the Night saga with haunting beauty and heart-wrenching intensity. It's a story about light born from ruin, the bridges we build between worlds?and the ghosts that follow us across them.
Fans of Leigh Bardugo, V.E. Schwab, and Kelley Armstrong will find a world where magic has teeth, love has consequences, and every echo leads back to the night.
Autorentext
Michael grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where rusted bridges and haunted alleyways inspired a lifelong fascination with the supernatural. Now based in North Carolina, he writes gothic urban fantasy that blends eerie suspense with deep emotion and queer-centered storytelling. His debut novel, Echoes of the Night: Shadows of Pittsburgh, explores hidden worlds beneath familiar streets, where monsters wear familiar faces and magic is never what it seems.
Michael's writing draws from a love of mythology, horror, and found-family dynamics. He believes the best stories are the ones that leave you changed?haunted, hopeful, and maybe just a little bit ruined in the best way.
When not writing, he can be found exploring hidden corners of the internet, watching some iteration of Star Trek, obsessing over coffee rituals, or quietly plotting his next twist in the Nightwalker saga. He's a firm believer that every city has ghosts, every person carries a secret, and every story deserves a little magic.
