Miguel Pimenta was born in a small seaside village. After earning his degree in Textile Engineering, he moved to another city in Guimarães, in northern Portugal. For over twenty-five years, he worked in the textile industry. This is his first book, which he wrote after presenting a paper on the ecological crisis affecting the oceans.
