With their model airplane completed, Ash and Hermes decide to stun Itsutsu's populace by doing a surprise demonstration at an upcoming event. And stun them they do-immediately, their detractors' mockery dies out as swathes of excited people stumble over each other to volunteer to help with making the final product.

Ash isn't about to turn them down. In fact, he has the perfect project for them to start working on: making bricks!

From the outside in, the process doesn't seem too difficult: pour clay into a mold, stick it into a hot kiln, and pop out a completed brick. But unfortunately, the gang runs into roadblocks at every turn. Suddenly, they find themselves scrambling to secure a supply of the correct kind of clay, struggling to build kilns that can withstand high temperatures, and delicately navigating the local politics of Itsutsu's craftsman workshops.

Still, Ash and his friends don't lose hope. Their dream of building a cornerstone for a new tomorrow? It's just on the horizon!
