You did everything right. So why does success still feel like a fight?
You worked harder. Stayed later and proved yourself-again and again. You pushed, adapted, and performed in rooms that weren't built with you in mind, trying to win inside a system that rewards women only when they become less of themselves.
For too long, Nicole M. Miller believed professional success meant proving herself at all costs. She fought the system, mastered its rules, and climbed anyway. But over time, the fight exhausted her-and somewhere along the way, she realized she had lost herself to the work.
Then, in a pivotal moment outside the men's room, it dawned on her: she didn't even want to go in there.
And as it turned out, other women felt the same way.
In Keys to the Men's Room, Miller shares her unfiltered journey from a tumultuous childhood to the C-suite of the male-dominated tech industry. Through memoir and hard-won leadership lessons, she explores the cost of working within systems that leave women not only competing for space but turning that pressure inward.
At the heart of the book are the KEYS:
Know Your Higher Self
Engage Your Higher Value
Yes to Your Bigger Future
Shift to the Femme Algorithm
The KEYS are not one-size-fits-all instructions. They are invitations to close the gap between what women have experienced at work and what they know is possible. Through Nicole's story, women are called out of survival mode and into the full force of their womanhood-where they stop overexplaining, stop measuring themselves against rules they did not write, and begin changing the way work feels, functions, and rewards.
Learn these KEYS, and share them with others.
