O.D. Ogundare is a Deputy Director Engineering at the Research and Development Department, Engineering Materials Development Institute Nigeria. He obtained his B. Eng. (Hons) in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria. He later bagged his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the Obafemi Awolowo University Ile Ife Nigeria. His field of research is in Extractive Metallurgy and Nano-synthesis, Mineral Processing optimization, Advanced Materials Development, Corrosion and Electrochemical Studies, Structured and Storage Materials Development, Materials Testing and Characterization. He has authored and co-authored over 40 articles including book chapters, peer-reviewed conference papers and journal articles published in high impact journals. He was part of the team who in conjunction with Ultra Brain Limited won the overall Best Research project outside the university and the second-best research project presented at the 5th Research Conference and fair University of Lagos Nigeria in 2009. He is currently a reviewer to many high impact factor international journals and a few local journals.

O.J. Akinribide is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Nanomechanics and Tribocorrosion, Department of Engineering Metallurgy, University of Johannesburg, South Africa. He obtained his B.Eng. and M.Sc. degrees in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria, and Ph.D degree from the University of Johannesburg, Johannesburg, South Africa. Powder metallurgy, Biomaterials and Biomedical Devices, Computational Materials Science, Functional Materials and Composites, Materials for Sustainability, Materials Characterization, Functional ceramics, additive manufacturing, nanoengineering, nanomechanics, wear and corrosion, tribocorrosion, the synthesis of nanocomposites, material characterization, and mechanical behavior of materials were some of his areas of study interest. He has successfully authored and co-authored over 55 articles including book chapters, peer-reviewed conference papers and journal articles published in high impact journals. He supervised 7 undergraduate students, 4 postgraduate students, including Ph.D. students in metallurgical and materials engineering throughout this time. He was appointed as a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Johannesburg commencing in 2020 till date because of his track record of success in the field of metallurgical and materials engineering. For more than three years at the same university, he assisted his host professor and work as tutor in the same research field. He also helped to coordinate the Centre for Nanomechanics and Tribocorrosion research facility. Additionally, he received several invitations to review and examine masters and doctoral thesis.

P.A.Olubambi obtained B.Eng (Hons) and M.Eng in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from the Federal University of Technology, Akure Nigeria, and and PhD degree in Metallurgy at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg South Africa. He is a Research Professor of Materials Engineering, and currently the Director of the Centre for Nanomechanics and Tribocorrosion. His research activities are focused on three key and interrelated fields of advanced materials processing; "Powder Metallurgy and Alloy Development", "Tribocorrosion and Electrochemical Techniques", and "Nanomechanics and Materials Characterization". His research efforts are centered on the utilization of innovative powder metallurgical techniques for developing nanoengineered materials for automotive, aerospace, microelectronics, mines, and energy storage, chemical and allied industries as well as for biomedical applications.
