Jim Nash isn't convinced a missing person is actually missing. Maddie Spence, his partner in the PI business, says otherwise.

Unbeknownst to both, an old nemesis, Fiona Lubinski, is somehow out of prison and on the run.

Fiona has an affinity for coffee. She walks into a Blue River coffee shop and all thoughts of the beverage are forgotten.

Fiona discovers being on the run has benefits. One of them is revenge.
