Penny Higgins received her teaching degree at OCE in Monmouth, OR. She continues to teach, even though she is retired. Her love for children and writing began early in life. She wrote a lullaby at the age of 7. She has 2 sons and 5 grandchildren. Penny lives in a small retirement community in Oregon where she keeps very busy!
