Sandra Bunting's previous short story collections include The Effect Of Frost On Southern Vines and Everything in this House Breaks. Her poetry chapbook, Lake of Phantoms, was published by Mercutio Press, Montreal, followed by the collections, Identified In Trees, Marram Press, and Lesser Spotted, Gaelóg Press. Sandra was awarded a BA in Radio and Television Arts from Toronto Metropolitan University and an MA in Writing from the University of Galway, Ireland. After working for CBC Toronto News, she moved to Europe and lived in the north of France, Madrid, Dublin, and Galway. She returned to Canada in 2011.Sandra was a long-term member of the editorial board of the Galway-based literary magazine, Crannóg, and currently works at Gaelóg Press, which offers writing and editing services, and creative writing workshops. She is finishing up several terms as secretary of the Writers Federation of New Brunswick and is working on her first novel.In her academic career, Sandra facilitated creative writing classes at the University of Galway, where she set up and managed the Academic Writing Centre. She has also taught English as a Second Language, conducted language evaluation and was involved in EFL Teacher Training.Sandra's work has appeared widely in literary journals and anthologies in Canada, the US, the UK, and Ireland.
