Spookhouse is a story about madness.

Jason Cross is a troubled teen haunted by scary visions and voices. Wherever he's lived, terrible things always happened. Now, he's fallen in love with a mysterious misfit girl who is very much like him. Soon, he's caught for his crimes and sent to an asylum for criminally insane adolescents.

The institution is called the Spookhouse, and he discovers it's a macabre prison where monsters and nightmares are real.
