Sherry is an award-winning YA author. Her novel Dandelion on Fire won the 2016 Benjamin Franklin IBPA gold medal for teen fiction, and her novel The Curse of Viola was a 2016 Foreward Indies Book of the Year Finalist in teen fiction. Her books are creative, fast-paced, young adult novels with supernatural elements that are know to keep her readers turning the pages late into the night.
In 2015, she and three other woman started Blue Ink Press, a traditional publisher that specializes in southern authors. She lives in Raleigh, NC with her husband and mini-schnauzer, Opal.
