A retired couple living on the moon are hosting their teenage grandchildren when a meteor shower drops an alien lifeform on the surface. The scientist are excited by this find, even though it appears to have died because of the Moon's atmosphere. The teens are disappointed when they learn the alien is about the size of a piece of thread. Bad things soon begin to happen, putting everyone in danger.
