Sue's leadership roles have included Dean of Learning Services at Edge Hill University, UK, University Librarian at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, and CEO and State Librarian, State Library of Victoria, Melbourne, Australia. She has previously published Managing Information Services and Leadership: The Challenge for the Information Profession.

Caroline Williams is University Librarian at the University of Queensland, Australia. She was previously Director of Libraries, Research and Learning Resources, at the University of Nottingham, UK, and the Deputy Director of Mimas, a national data centre at the University of Manchester, UK.
