Looking at the way in which the EU was completely dominated by, and obsessed with, the Ukraine issue, it would appear that Ukraine has somehow taken over the EU.

And, as incredible as it may seem, Ukraine and the proxy war in Ukraine has now become the single biggest issue that has preoccupied and bedeviled the EU since 2019.

Has Ukraine become the proverbial albatross on the EU's neck?

Were these the world's greatest scam and counter-scam?

The EU may have thought that it has acquired a pugnacious mercenary army in the shape of Ukraine to fight its proxy war against Russia..

But does the EU realize that in so doing, it has also acquired its greatest possible foe of an unbeatable Russia?

That is the real danger of indulging in the highly toxic and unpredictable geopolitical game and puppet game.
