Dr Sigrid Netherer is a Senior Lecturer in Forest Entomology and analyst with the Forest Damage Centre at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, Sweden. She is known for her research on forest management and population dynamics of native and invasive species affecting forests.
Dr Maartje Klapwijk is a Senior Scientist in the Institute of Forest Entomology, Forest Pathology and Forest Protection at BOKU University, Austria. She has an international reputation for her expertise in risk assessment of bark beetles and other forest insect pests.
