Umer Hussain is an assistant professor at Missouri State University, USA. His research areas include exploring the intersection of ethnicity, religion, and gender in sports. Dr. Hussain has more than thirteen years of experience in academia and practice, and his work has been published in journals such as European Sport Management Quarterly, the International Review of Sociology of Sport, Sport in Society, and Games and Culture.

George B. Cunningham is a former sport management professor, having held positions at Indiana University, Texas A&M University, and the University of Florida, USA. Author of over 250 journal articles and book chapters, his research focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion in sport and physical activity. Cunningham is a Candidate for Holy Orders in The Episcopal Diocese of Florida.
