Prof. Umesh Kumar, is currently the Head of Dept. of Sociology, S.S.V. College, Kahalgaon, a Constituent Unit of Tilka Manjhi Bhaghalpur University (TMBU). He possesses a long academic career and has been a prolific editor of social science books and journals. He regularly participates in national and international seminars, symposiums, workshops, round table discussions and training programmes.
