Just like books need editing, so does a writer's bio, at least mine did. I apologize for the lengthy introduction I've forced on readers. I'm going to keep things short and simple.
Most important, I've given birth to approximately 150 books both as Vella Munn and under a sexy pen name. What I take great pride in are 12 Native American historicals. I hope you'll look for such titles as Soul of the Sacred Earth, Cheyenne Summer, Survivors Heart, and Daughter of the Forest.
No surprise, I've written MANY romances. In addition, I wrote three hard-hitting stories in what I call the Primal Justice series about what happens to animal abusers, two historical romances set in the gold town where my sister and I were raised, several Seasons Heartbeat stories linked by the seasons, and three that honor forest rangers.
As for the erotic romances--please look for Vonna Harper. They're all 'her' fault and prove she isn't as restrained as she looks.
On a personal level, I have two sons, two daughters-in-law, a grandson, and five grandchildren of my heart. I'm a widow who is a slave to a 'slightly' spoiled pit bull.
I put out a monthly newsletter that tells readers where to look for free books. I also gossip about the publishing world and beg for sympathy regarding my worn out back. You can sign up for the newsletter at my Vella-Munn website.

Summer, 1800. There is no rain. Heat bakes the prairie. What little game survives on the trickles of water in the shrinking creeks is fiercely hunted not just by the Cheyenne, but by their enemies, the Pawnee.
In the midst of a buffalo hunt that becomes a battle when Pawnee warriors attack, a young Cheyenne brave, Grey Bear, discovers that his joy in killing outweighs his pride in bringing home meat for his hungry people. But the meditative Lone Hawk realizes for the first time that the Pawnee must be starving, just like the Cheyenne.
In the Cheyenne village, the beautiful Seeks Fire learns that the brave she idolizes is not the gentle soul she believes him to be. Her close friend, Touches the Wind, discovers her own bravery during an inferno that scorches the plains and destroys half the village.
The growing tension between Grey Bear and Lone Hawk threatens to destroy their people, but maybe the love between a brave and a maiden will save them all.
