India has achieved distinction in the field of Library and Information Sciences. This has been due to the contribution of many scholars including Prof. P. N. Kaula, former Professor and Head, Department of Library and Information Science, Banaras Hindu University. This Festschrift contains papers by internationally known librarians and information science specialists in honour of the 61st birthday celebration of Prof. Kaula and his life long services to the Indian library movement.
